CNN has an article with a headline asking if family farming can end poverty.
Saying “duh” would be rude, so instead I’ll say yes. Yes yes yes.
Industrial agriculture is not about the well-being of humanity, and we do not need GMOs in order to feed the world. If GMOs were going to solve world hunger they’d have done it already and growing more food does little to address the whole “throwing half the food away while people are literally starving to death” thing.
It’s time to try new things, on a grassroots level, like creating this food forest farm operated on a gift economy.
Please chip in ten or more dollars to help us change the food system from the inside out.
